The main problem if GMA is ousted, our country will be handled by a person who was voted PURELY because he’s popular with the masses and nothing else. We therefore need to validate our democratic system first to minimize the risks in the transfer of power.

And who’s fault was that, making him run as VP?

Can’t you see? He was made to run precisely to scare off people like you. So now that Gloria Arroyo should be removed, you hesitate. Brilliant, no?

But, in case you don’t know, Noli de Castro is handling a lot of portfolios, more than any Cabinet member. He leads the Office of the VP, Pag-ibig, HDCC, and NAPC, among others. If he is really that bad, these offices should have bombed right now.

It doesn’t matter if you think a Veep is bobo, as long as he gets the right people in the right places. Erap had done that, though he’s that bad.

It’s actually brilliant for her, so what the problem would be our democratic system itself, and we need to overhaul this popularity contest, so that unknown but capable people would stand a chance. We need to make our democratic system valid.
The problem with our current system is that the VP didn’t show why he deserved to be elected VP. It’s purely a popularity contest we have now. That it’s only left to your opinion why he can take over. I wouldn’t take the chance. It’s simply too risky.

So we’ll just let things slide, leave things as they were? Just let the crime be, because you cannot take a risk? Tsk.

And I cannot take the risk allowing people like you dictate what is right and what is wrong. If you want to stay and watch rape as it happens, that’s your call. I just hope that you will not regret it.

While your rant against the democratic system may have merits, the fact is that that’s how democracy works. If you can’t accept it, then advocate for a Lee Kwan Yew style of government.

I don’t think I’ll regret this. I’m not a risk take, but risk averse. To minimize the risk to our economy before effectively dealing with corruption So it’s not that I don’t care about wiping out the plague of corruption. There are other Asian countries like China and Vietnam with high growth rates but are more corrupt.
The Lee Kwan Yew style of governance is not truly democratic. It only has freedom from poverty, but people are not free to oppose the government, unlike us. I believe both ingredients should exist for a true democracy.

Below is a transcript of a supposedly wiretapped conversation between Joey and Jun I got from a website. Judge for yourself if Jun Lozada is indeed deserving to be treated a hero, but of course after ascertaining if this is genuine.

EDIT: I had removed the transcript, go read it instead at the URL below. Arbet

REASON: A transcript of a supposed wiretapped conversation is unacceptable as evidence in court. If you cannot even accept Hello, Garci as valid, why use this one?

Is that relevant to the issue at hand? Why post it here when it is already posted somewhere else?

The problem is that if this is indeed true, who has the capability to do this? The same regime that you cannot risk going down!

So it was already posted somewhere else, but I thought there may be people who haven’t seen it.
Maybe the government has the capacity, but so do all telecom firms.
